Logo Design and Web Design
Hillside approached us needing a full web redesign and build, with capabilities for online ordering, blog posts, departments, and more... In the interest of keeping them looking hip-and-fresh, we also added in a logo update to align with their new web presence. We also helped them with brand voice and copywriting.
Hillside Gardens is a family owned business, so we wanted the logo to reflect an that intimacy and heritage. Paying homage to the current owners' grandfather, this logotype is based on hand-lettering that grandfather had painted inside the store.
As for the site, we wanted it to feel laid-back, friendly, and helpful. We did this by opting for a black-and white, generally minimal basic layout and typographic style, but pulled-in conversational eye-catching headers. Planet Lobo did the copywriting and photography styling to ensure a cohesive look, feel, and overall vibe.
